About this bursary
The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation offers fellowship funding to Grade 12 learners who plan to begin university studies in 2027. The programme combines tertiary education funding with dedicated support to help high-potential candidates build entrepreneurial mindsets.
Financial assistance is structured around total household income. Qualified applicants from households earning under R1 million per year receive complete funding for tuition, campus accommodation, meals, study materials, and personal stipends.
Candidates also benefit from one-on-one business mentorship, specialist workshops, and entry into a network of emerging business leaders. Funding is restricted to specified public South African universities and TSIBA Business School.
