grantZA is wholly owned and operated by SNEGO GROUP (Pty) Ltd, a registered South African Private Company (Registration Number: K2024/597935/07). We are a privately owned informational portal. We are not the government. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA), NSFAS, the NYDA, or any other state department. Whenever we use "we", "us", or "our" in these terms, we are referring to SNEGO GROUP.
1. Accuracy of Information
The team at SNEGO GROUP works hard to ensure the information published on grantZA is accurate and up-to-date. However, government policies, grant payment dates, and funding criteria can change literally overnight. Because of this, we provide all content on an "as is" basis.
We cannot be held legally responsible if you miss an application deadline, if a grant amount changes, or if a funding programme is suddenly paused. You should always verify critical dates and financial requirements directly with the official government agency before making major life decisions.
2. Fair Use of the Status Check Tool
We provide a status check tool on our platform to help you conveniently view your grant progress. When using this feature, you agree to the following conditions:
- Personal Use Only: You may only enter your own ID number, or the ID number of someone who has given you explicit permission to check on their behalf (like an elderly family member).
- No Automated Scraping: Using bots, scripts, or automated software to push thousands of ID numbers through our form is strictly prohibited. If our security systems detect robotic behavior or server abuse, your IP address will be permanently banned without warning.
- System Uptime: Because our tool fetches data from official state APIs, if the government's server goes down (which happens occasionally), our tool will also experience downtime. SNEGO GROUP cannot guarantee 24/7 availability.
3. Intellectual Property
The unique layout, custom graphics, code, and written guides on this website and within the mobile app are the intellectual property of SNEGO GROUP (Pty) Ltd. You are more than welcome to share our articles with your community or link to our pages on social media. However, directly copying our articles and pasting them onto your own website as if you wrote them is copyright infringement.
Naturally, any official government logos, crests, or acronyms (like the SASSA or NSFAS logos) mentioned or displayed strictly for educational purposes remain the exclusive property of those respective state departments.
4. Third-Party Links and Advertising
To keep the lights on and ensure our platform remains free, we use third-party advertising networks (like Google) and provide outbound links to official application portals. SNEGO GROUP does not endorse every product shown in a banner ad, nor do we control the content on external government websites.
Once you click a link and leave the grantZA ecosystem, you are bound by the terms and privacy policies of that specific site. If an external portal is experiencing technical difficulties or requests sensitive documents, that process is entirely between you and the agency.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, SNEGO GROUP (Pty) Ltd (and its directors, developers, and writers) shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from your use of this platform. This includes, but is not limited to, lost revenue, delayed grant payouts, or data issues caused by temporary server outages.
6. Changes to These Terms
SNEGO GROUP reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. When we do, we will update the date at the very top of this page. Continued use of the website or the za.org.grantza.www mobile app after those changes means you accept the updated terms.
