Valterra Platinum provides comprehensive financial funding for university students completing degrees in mining and engineering fields. The bursary pays full tuition up to Honours level, along with university housing and meal allowances.
The programme targets high-performing students who want to build technical careers in the mining industry. Bursary holders gain direct practical experience through paid vacation work and receive structured workplace mentorship throughout their studies.
Bursary holders must enter the Valterra Platinum graduate scheme after completing their studies. This involves rotating across operating sites in Amandelbult, Mogalakwena, and Mototolo. Candidates living in host communities near operations in Limpopo and North West receive preference.
