ACT Nyoloha Scholarship 2027

About this bursary

The Arts & Culture Trust Nyoloha Scholarship Programme provides financial support to emerging South African creative talent entering tertiary education. Run in partnership with Nedbank Arts Affinity and the MTN Foundation, the initiative offers two comprehensive awards with a combined cap of R300 000 for studies at accredited local institutions.

This opportunity targets dedicated young performers and visual artists who require financial support to attend university or college. Alongside degree funding, selected participants engage in a structured six-month development scheme designed to prepare them for higher education and career demands.

Funding covers course registration, tuition fees, and prescribed books or materials. Living expenses, accommodation, and daily transport are excluded. Candidates must be preparing to enter their first year of study in 2027.

Certified copy of South African ID document
Latest academic results or Matric certificate
Clear head-and-shoulders passport-style photograph
Tertiary acceptance letter from an approved institution
Signed Consent Form
Signed Financial Assessment Form
Audition video for performing arts or portfolio images for visual arts

Applicants under 18 years of age must submit a Consent Form signed by a parent or legal guardian.
