About this bursary
The Clicks Foundation Bursary assists undergraduate students pursuing qualifications in technology fields. Funding is managed by the Clicks Group to support young South Africans building careers in the digital sector. It pays for core academic costs, including registration fees, tuition, and required textbooks.
This programme targets full-time students who are entering their second or third year of study. Eligible candidates must be enrolled at an accredited university located within the Western Cape province.
Applicants should note that historical study debt is not covered. Preference is given to candidates from designated background groups as well as students living with disabilities.

Who can apply
You qualify if
- You must be a South African citizen between 19 and 35 years old.
- You must have completed matric and be entering your second or third year of undergraduate study.
- Your qualification must be in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- You must be enrolled at a recognized, accredited university in the Western Cape.
- You need an overall academic average of at least 60%.
- You cannot hold any other bursaries at the same time.
You do not qualify if
- First-year students and postgraduate candidates are not eligible.
- Students studying at universities outside the Western Cape cannot apply.
- Applicants with existing historical tuition debt will not be covered for past balances.
- Holders of concurrent funding from other sources are excluded.

- Full university academic record printed on official institution letterhead
- Proof of university registration for 2027
- Medical doctor letter proving disability, if applicable
