Who can apply

You qualify if

  • Applicants must hold South African citizenship.
  • Candidates must currently be in Grade 12 or have finished Matric.
  • You must plan to study or currently study full-time towards an approved qualification.
  • Studies must take place at a recognised South African public university.
  • Undergraduate candidates require at least 60% for Mathematics, 60% for English, and an overall Matric average of 65%.
  • Postgraduate applicants must hold a minimum tertiary average of 65%.
  • Candidates must demonstrate strong academic achievement and a commitment to environmental sustainability.

You do not qualify if

  • Part-time students are not eligible.
  • Non-South African citizens cannot apply.
  • Students attending unaccredited private colleges are excluded.
