About this bursary
The Etion Create Bursary assists full-time engineering students completing their undergraduate degrees. Etion Create is a South African technology firm specialising in electronic design and manufacturing, funding two students for the 2027 academic year.
This opportunity targets students currently in their second or third year of university. The funding runs for one academic year and covers essential educational costs while offering students practical experience in the tech sector.
Bursary holders must take part in mandatory vacation work with Etion Create during 2027 to gain industry exposure.

Who can apply
You qualify if
- You must hold South African citizenship.
- You must have passed Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science.
- You need to be currently studying toward BEng Electronics or BEng Computer Engineering.
- You must have completed your second or third year of tertiary study.
- You must be enrolled at an accredited public university in South Africa.
You do not qualify if
- First-year students and final-year students are not eligible.
- Non-South African citizens cannot apply.
- Students attending private or unaccredited institutions will not be considered.
