Who can apply
You qualify if
- You must be a South African citizen between 18 and 28 years old.
- You must have a declared disability recognized under the Employment Equity Amendment Act.
- You must be enrolled in a minimum three-year diploma or degree at an accredited South African tertiary institution.
- Funding is open to students in any field of study.
- You must maintain the required academic average specified in the bursary agreement.
- You must submit academic transcripts to the bursary office each term or semester.
- You must be willing to fulfill work-back obligations or internships with Exxaro after graduation if required.
You do not qualify if
- Applicants without a declared disability certified by a medical doctor are not eligible.
- Candidates under 18 or over 28 years old cannot apply.
- Non-South African citizens will not be considered.
- Students enrolled in qualifications lasting less than three years do not qualify.
