About this bursary

JG Afrika offers a bursary programme for South African students planning to study or currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering undergraduate degree. The funding assists with tertiary study costs while introducing students to practical industry experience.

The bursary is open to both Matric learners and current university students who wish to complete their qualification at an accredited public university in South Africa.

Who can apply

You qualify if

  • You must be a South African citizen.
  • You must currently be in Matric or have completed your Matric.
  • You must be studying or planning to study full-time towards a BSc or BEng degree in Civil Engineering.
  • You must be enrolled or accepted at a recognized, accredited South African university.

You do not qualify if

  • Meet all of the criteria on the left.

Documents you need to submit

  • Certified copy of your ID document
  • Matric certificate or latest academic results
  • Full tertiary academic transcript from your first year up to current studies
  • Details of any other bursaries or funding held, if applicable
  • Written motivation supporting your application

All requested documentation must be clear and compulsory items must be included.
