Who can apply
You qualify if
- You must hold South African citizenship.
- You must live within 50 kilometres of the Droogfontein Solar Power plant in the Northern Cape province.
- You must be studying or planning to study towards an NQF level 6 technical qualification, National Diploma, or Degree.
- You must hold acceptance to study at a recognized public or private tertiary institution in South Africa.
- You must prove financial need and lack adequate household funds to cover tertiary costs.
You do not qualify if
- Applicants who reside further than 50 kilometres from the Droogfontein Solar Power plant.
- Non-South African citizens.
- Students enrolled at unaccredited educational institutions.
