About this bursary

The MacMillan Foundation Bursary offers financial funding for postgraduate architecture students in South Africa. Established by SNAPP Architects, the foundation works to build future leadership in the architectural sector by supporting high-achieving women.

The programme targets Black female South African citizens who have strong academic records but lack the financial means to complete higher-level tertiary qualifications in architecture.

Bursary payments go directly into the student's university tuition account once proof of registration and a fee statement are provided. Successful applicants also gain access to professional mentorship and industry guidance.

Master of Architecture (MArch)

What the bursary covers

Direct payment of university tuition fees for one year of study
Professional guidance and mentorship from experienced architects
