About this bursary
The Momentum Group Actuarial Youth Bursary Programme funds undergraduate actuarial students in South Africa. The funding covers registration fees, tuition, university or accredited accommodation, prescribed textbooks, meals, travel, data, and living allowances. Recipients also gain access to mentor support, networking sessions, and practical vacation work.
This bursary initiative aims to remove financial obstacles for talented students pursuing careers in actuarial science. By investing in future actuarial professionals, Momentum Group helps build strong skills for the South African financial services sector.
Applicants must be entering their second year of study or higher in 2027. First-year students cannot apply. Successful candidates sign a contract committing to work for Momentum Group after graduation and must obtain at least four exemptions by the end of their degree.
Obligation
Recipients must join the Momentum Group as employees upon completing their actuarial degree.
