About this bursary

PRDW offers financial support to senior undergraduate students studying engineering degrees at South African universities. The firm specializes in consulting engineering for marine and coastal developments.

This bursary targets full-time students in their third year of study or higher who demonstrate financial need and academic strength. Bursary recipients must also be able to complete practical vacation work near Cape Town.

Applicants from designated groups under the Employment Equity Act receive preference during selection.

Obligation

Recipients must complete mandatory vacation work with PRDW in Cape Town.

You do not qualify if

  • Students in their first or second year of undergraduate study.
  • Applicants studying at private or unaccredited institutions.
  • Students with an academic average below 65%.
  • Candidates unable to attend vacation work in Cape Town.

Documents you need to submit

  • South African ID document or valid passport with permanent residence permit
  • Matric certificate
  • Full academic transcript from start of university studies to present
  • Proof of current university registration or acceptance letter
  • Latest university financial fee statement
  • Updated CV with a personalised cover letter and contactable references

Clear and legible copies of all required documents must be attached.
