Who can apply

You qualify if

  • You must hold South African citizenship.
  • You must have successfully completed matric.
  • You must possess a strong academic record.
  • You must be enrolled in one of the approved degrees in science, engineering, or commerce.
  • You must be entering your final undergraduate year or postgraduate studies in 2027.
  • You must demonstrate financial need.

You do not qualify if

  • Applicants who are not South African citizens.
  • Students entering their first or second year of undergraduate study in 2027.
  • Students pursuing qualifications outside the specified fields of study.
