About this bursary
The South African Association for Food Science and Technology Foundation offers annual financial support to tertiary students. This bursary assists undergraduate students pursuing higher qualifications in the food technology sector at public tertiary institutions.
The award is aimed at developing technical expertise across the local food sector. Funding is restricted to active association members who demonstrate both academic potential and a commitment to working within the industry.
Bursary payments go directly to the educational institution in two separate installments each year. Students must maintain passing grades, as failing a semester or abandoning studies converts the bursary into a repayable loan.
