About this bursary
Sanlam offers a comprehensive bursary program for students pursuing degrees in actuarial science. The scheme provides full financial assistance for full-time undergraduate studies at accredited South African universities.
Sanlam established this bursary to train and recruit skilled mathematical specialists into its financial services network. The award helps both prospective university students and current undergraduate pupils who demonstrate strong academic capability.
Beyond financial funding, the program includes structured mentorship from practicing actuaries, compulsory vacation work, and direct payment for board examinations. Successful graduates transition directly into employment roles across the business.
Obligation
Recipients enter a service contract and receive guaranteed employment at Sanlam after completing their degree.
