About this bursary
The South African Actuaries Development Programme (SAADP) provides comprehensive financial funding and professional support for students studying actuarial science. The bursary covers tuition fees, university housing, meals, and books for qualifying candidates.
This initiative aims to create opportunities for talented South Africans from historically disadvantaged backgrounds who want to enter the actuarial profession. Funding is reserved for study at three partner institutions: the University of Cape Town, the University of Pretoria, and the University of the Witwatersrand.
Students enrolled at other universities may apply, but must gain admission to and transfer to one of the three designated partner universities to receive funding.
