Who can apply

You qualify if

  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Must have completed Grade 12 matriculation.
  • Must be registered or studying full-time towards an eligible degree qualification at an accredited South African university.
  • Must have achieved at least 65% for Matric Mathematics.
  • Must have achieved at least 65% for Matric English.
  • Must maintain an overall academic average of at least 65% at university level.
  • Must demonstrate strong leadership potential.

You do not qualify if

  • Non-South African citizens.
  • Students pursuing qualifications outside the specified engineering, commerce, or science streams.
  • Applicants with academic averages below 65%.

  • Certified copy of South African identity document
  • Certified copy of Matric result certificate
  • Full official university academic record to date printed on institutional letterhead
  • Proof of household income including latest payslips, pension grant slips, or an affidavit if parents are unemployed
