POPIA & Information Regulator

grantZA is operated by SNEGO GROUP (Pty) Ltd. As a South African private company that handles personal information through our website and tools, we are registered with the Information Regulator of South Africa as required under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

How your information is handled

grantZA does not operate any SASSA status check. When you submit an application for the grantZA Informal Trader Startup Grant, we store only the information needed to assess and pay that application, and we do not share it with SASSA or any government department. When you use our status check to look up your own grantZA application, we run a single lookup against your application reference and do not save the query. See section 3 below for the full detail.
